Interesting. This took me back to 20th century when we did a project measuring cardiac activity using different biomedical tools for an EECS/BME/Physiology engineering instrumentation course. We also supplemented with Doppler measurements, if I were to remember it right. We were keen to understand blood flow and cardiac avtivity under different exercise conditions - hands vs legs and more.

What is a Cardiac Stress Test?
During a cardiac stress test, Dr. Ladenheim is able to evaluate your heart’s response to physical exertion. Cardiac stress tests are generally conducted using a treadmill, which means you should wear walking shoes and comfortable clothes to your appointment. Some patients are not able to walk on a treadmill and then stress can be induced using medication rather than exercise. Learn more here: http://ow.ly/i04N30hP7Yt
