Today's proverbs/phrases are about Alcoholism: English and Tamil
"Alcohol hijacks the brain" -
which implies how alcoholism affects the thinking ability of a person.
An equivalent proverb in Tamil is the following:
"குடிகாரன் பேச்சு விடிஞ்சா போச்சு" -
which means a drunkard can't keep up his/her word, indirectly implying the impact of alcohol on one's perception towards life.
In this post, we have also captured a recent headlines on the impact of alcoholism on the millennials.
We will see what happens to the liver due to alcoholism in the near future.

Alcohol addiction is a big problem in the world that needs to be addressed comprehensively. A person cannot overcome addiction alone, it is best to go to a rehab where you will get help from specialists.
